Pet peeve

People who don't label their axes (as in plural of axis, not ax).

Gaaah.

Hey, I don't label my axes in lab reports and assignments for classes....Mostly b/c I'm too lazy to figure out the units for some of the stuff we have to graph. @_@;

I think she means labeling them as in "price and quantity".

I meant labeling both in terms of what is on the x-axis and what's on the y-axis (yeah it's REALLY HARD to understand a graph when those aren't labeled) and also in numerical values. Because while the tick-marks might be evenly spaced the scale sometimes does change and then when they don't label it and only mention it in the article itself and I miss it I'd draw the wrong conclusion and it's like...ASDF WTH when it turns out that this thing inhibits the other thing, not promote it.

So ...yeah.

What I meant was if you had a value like "pressure" or "intensity" or something you'd usually mention what units it's in on the labels, like mmHg versus cgs units
