South Cal was not prepared for this much rainfall, and neither was I. A lot of places have flooded and I need a new umbrella.
I wonder if this means that it won't rain on Recruitment Weekend. It's a running joke around grad students here that this place only rains two weeks a year but it will always rain on Recruitment Weekend.

It's been raining a lot here too, freak lightning storms and all.
Hahahaha...I wonder if the same is true for psych recruitment weekends. No worries. I have more experience with San Diego weather to know better, though I have heard that "weather during recruitment weekend" is a major factor in determining which school people decide to go to :P
lol it's like at Claremont- the orientation people were like "So if some of you moved here for the weather.. we swear it's not like this most of the time!" It was freaking INSANE that day. I've never seen it rain so hard here.
