17 stillmore

"Well," she said, "I'm seventeen and I'm crazy. My uncle says the two always go together. When peple ask you your age, he said, always say seventeen and insane."

so it goes. heh.

an event this morning: i got up and went downstairs and both of my parents (our family being all early-risers) were already up. we said good morning and all that, and then they asked, since they were making breakfast already, what i'd like to drink for breakfast.
parents: so what's your choice?
me: what are my options?
parents: milk.
me: ...and...?
parents: that's it.

isn't that funny? it makes me wonder about a lot of things, namely the parallels that occur in the society. they tell you you have the power to decide, and then hand you the list of choices you can make and on that list you can see the grand total (limited for whatever reason) of one, single, choice.
much of life is an illusion that most people choose not to see through.
cest la vie.
is this one of the murphy's laws?

oh yes, homework, of course, today, and studying. if i get tired my mind'll just digress by itself and so vacation breaks (at least mentally) doesn't seem to be a problem.

eick: They think peace is something that is done in a room full of ambassadors.
