the art of arts

if i did not realize, last year, what horrible things in-class essays are early in the morning, i would have realized it today. but such as it is, i suppose it's very good practice for the ap test day. i just don't have to be happy about it, that's all.

quote of the day: "i HATE LA!"- the response of a friend who'd had the misfortune of disagreeing with LA traffic and lost. heh. most of us know now where we're going to go, (or at least have had our choices narrowed down to a specific few) so, future is in sight, or can be plotted, and now there's something to look forward to!

oh yes, about the lit review session this morning, i believe that i have someone to thank for my ability to get every single question that's related to a certain poem correct. that poem is by emily dickinson. a friend of mine had given me a book of her poems for my previous birthday. guess who? yes! step up now! :-) thanks kate! lol. i don't know what's the likelihood of getting another dickinson poem on the ap test this year but we can hope, can't we?
hope springs eternal. ah yes.

get well soon christine. i don't know if you read this, but get well soon.
and everytime anna says "prom dress" i'm going to say "davis sweater."
