bless mother earth for putting up with us for so long. our race is rather the sadistic sort, don't you think? and hypocritical, too.

70% recovery rate in my files (if you're reading this, john, thank you SO much!). text files recovered 100%, pics around 90%, word documents around 65% (repairment needed for some files later), html files around 50% (the first half, especially the css, usually appears chopped off or scrambled), word exel (is that what you call it?) 50% (random bits of the data can be opened with notepad only). i've made up a list of documents that are important enough to be that i'm going to try to piece back together. sometime after the APs. the ones that i don't have the latest versions of (for instance, ptc part 3 i only have the oldest version, not the edited version) i'll post here later and if you have a copy of the newer version i will be very grateful if you'll send it to me. of course, this won't be happening for a while yet....

math tomorrow at 8am, this is somewhat ridiculous but i signed up for it, so oh well.

now i just need to find out why my OS won't let me copy and paste. something wrong with the clipboard?
