i felt very smart during the late discussion today when i realized that i'd managed to, by myself, reach the big conclusion that ms. stebbins was try to get us to come up with in class today (i.e. the story of the invisible man is essentially the story of each of us. as for how i came up with that...that'll take too much explanation) about two weeks ago. then i felt like an idiot because i spent five minutes hunting for my pencils, which were in the bottom of my backpack once again.

here's the question though: if you are a reflection, are you still invisible?

the flyer for the opening house for berkeley came, and my parents really wanted to go. i suppose that, since they'd allowed me to go along with my wayward decision regarding college choices, it's only fair that i should go along with them on visiting berkeley, to even out the happiness factor, so to speak. nevertheless, being resigned to my stubborness doesn't mean that they've given up trying to convince me yet so...anyone want to go with me on berkeley visiting day? i don't trust myself enough and might need a buffer.
